Apple Introduces iPad Pro, AirTag And iMac

Apple has launched its new iPad Pro, Apple AirTag, iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini with purple variant at the Spring Loaded event. The new iPad pro will support 5G connectivity. 

The Apple M1 processor has been given in this iPad. The company says that its processor is 75 times faster than its old generation iPad. The new iPad will also get an XBox and PS5 controllers with a promotion display. It also has a large storage capacity of 2 TB.

iPad Pro Specifications

The iPad Pro has been launched in two screen sizes of 11 inches and 12.9 inches. The 12.9 inch model will get a liquid retina XDR mini LED display. Its resolution is 2732 × 2048 pixels. It supports promotion, true tone and P3 wide color. At the same time, the 11-inch model has a liquid retina display, which has a resolution of 2388 × 1668 pixels. It also supports promotion, true tone and P3 wide color. Both models come with 5G connectivity. Cellular models will support E-SIM.

iPad pro comes with 8GB RAM along with 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, 1TB and 2TB storage options. It also comes with USB Type -C port, and USB 4 ports,thunderbolt. The company also claims that it provides 4 times faster speed than wired connection. The new iPad pro comes with higher resolution display XDR with 6K resolution support. It also provide Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5 connectivity.

The front of the new iPad Pro has a 12-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, which covers 122 degree field. Also, there will be a 12+10 megapixel dual rear camera in its back. There is a 12 megapixel ultra wide lens, which covers 125 degree area. The camera lens comes with LiDAR scanner. At the same time, 2X supports zoom. The iPad Pro also supports Magic Keyboard and Second Generation Apple pencil.

The 11-inch iPad Pro starts at Rs 71900 for the Wi-Fi model and Rs 85900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model, and the 12.9-inch iPad Pro starts at Rs 99,900 for the Wi-Fi model and Rs 11,3900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model.

Features of Apple AirTag

Apple introduced AirTag, a small and elegantly designed accessory that helps keep track of and find the items that matter most with Apple’s Find My app.  You can attach it to a handbag, keys, backpack, or other items.

It can help to locate a lost item, all while keeping location data private and anonymous with end to end encryption. AirTag is small and lightweight and it is featured with stainless steel and is IP67 water and dust resistant.

A built-in speaker plays sounds to help locate AirTag, while a removable cover makes it easy for users to replace the battery.

Each AirTag is equipped with the Apple-designed U1 chip using Ultra Wide band technology, enabling Precision Finding5 for iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 users. This advanced technology can more accurately determine the distance and direction to a lost AirTag when it is in range. 

AirTag trackers are priced at Rs. 3,190 for one and Rs. 10,900 for a four pack. AirTag trackers will go on sale from April 30. In the US, AirTag trackers are priced at $29 (roughly Rs. 2,200) for the single tile, and $99 (roughly Rs. 7,500) for the 4-pack, and will go up for pre-orders from April 23.

iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini Purple variant

Apple introduced a purple colour option for the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 mini. There were no change in the specifications and price of the two smartphones. The purple colour variant of both the iPhone will be available for pre-order in India from 23 April.


Apple iMac 

Apple launches new iMac which is featured with 8-core Apple M1 chip and 24 inch 4.5K Retina display. It comes with 16GB unified memory which is expanded upto 2TB storage.

For chatting and video conferencing it comes with 1080 Face Time HD camera with M1 ISP. It also comes with four USB-C ports and thunderbolt. For audio, it comes with 6 speaker system with force cancelling woofers.


It support Wi-Fi 6 wireless networking and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless technology. It comes with 7 vibrant colours: Blue, Green, Pink, Silver, Yellow, Orange, and Purple.

The new range of iMac computers starts at ₹1,19,900 and is also available at ₹1,39,900 and ₹1,59,900 based on different GPU and storage options. It's pre-order starts from April 30.
