ASUS ROG Phone-3 Set To Launch in July

After the success of ASUS ROG Phone 2, the company set to launch its next version, Asus ROG Phone 3.

ASUS is a Taiwanese based company and its Republic of Gamers (ROG) brand successfully running for PCS and smartphones. ROG is a brand that most gamers trust and popular in the PC gaming world.

The company has put up a launch poster on Weibo, stating that the ROG phone-3 will be launch in July. Asus join hands with Tencent Games, focusing on hardware performance optimisation of game content.

Tencent Games said that it would partner with the Republic of Gamers in China to provide "in-depth cooperation" and will focus on "optimizing the performance of game content on the hardware" to "create a game experience, closer to the player." Like last year, we expect that Tencent provides better optimization and resource allocation to some of its games.

ASUS ROG Phone 3 specifications

According to sources, talking about its specification, the Asus ROG phone-3 is expected to come with a 6.59-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display, 2,340 × 1,080 pixels resolution, and 144Hz refresh rate.

The ROG phone-3 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor paired with the Adreno 640 GPU.

You can also expect up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM as well as up to 512GB storage. The battery capacity will remain unchanged at 6000mAh, and Asus will stick to the 30W fast wired charging this year. The phone is to retain its stereo speaker setup as well.

Now, the ROG Phone-3 comes with a triple camera setup this year. The primary camera will use a 64-megapixel sensor. A 13-megapixel ultra-wide angle-camera may also accompany this.

The phone will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and customisable RGB lighting. But we can't say anything about its price.

Previously, Asus had launched ROG Phone II, and most awarded Gaming Smartphone of the year.
