Apple has formally revealed the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. iPhone 7 will launch in India at a starting price of Rs. 60,000 for the new 32GB base storage model. There's no word on the price in India of other variants.

"The high-gloss finish of the Jet Black iPhone 7 is achieved through a precision nine-step anodization and polishing process. Its surface is equally as hard as other anodised Apple products; however, its high shine may show fine micro-abrasions with use. If you are concerned about this, we suggest you use one of the many cases available to protect your iPhone."

The new device is certainly waterproof and dust-proofing, and the larger model comes with an impressive dual-lens camera accomplished of all kinds of photographic wizardry.

Both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have upgraded cameras. iPhone 7 has a 12 megapixel sensor that is demanded to be 60% faster. Apple has also gathered the storage variant on other models, with 128GB and 256GB models now rounding up the lineup. 128GB iPhone 7 costs $749 and the 256GB model will be presented at $849.

The iPhone 7 Plus start at $769 for 32GB storage. The iPhone 7 Plus has been rated at $869  for the 128GB variant and for the 256GB variant $969.

iPhone 7: Design

iPhone 7 has a brand new design which includes an aluminium body and a formed sheet of glass. The camera covering is directly shaped out of the metal case and the antenna is build straight in, making it almost disappear. 3D polishing gives it a silky black finish and mirror-like surface. There's an anodized layer on top for extra protection, too. The finish is called Jet Black, but there will also be a second color, simply called Black. It will also be presented in silver, gold and rose gold. The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are almost identical in look to their predecessors, the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.

In terms of camera, the Apple iPhone 7 sports a 12-megapixel primary camera and a 7-megapixel front  for selfies. As usual, Apple has not shown iPhone 7 RAM and mAh value of the iPhone 7 battery.

iPhone 7 Plus specifications

The iPhone 7 Plus is like to the iPhone 7 in terms of specifications, but it has a bigger, 5.5-inch 1080p display and it packs dual 12-megapixel sensors on the rear. The iPhone 7 Plus RAM was learned to be higher than iPhone 7 before the leaks, but there's no approved confirmation yet. The iPhone 7 Plus also likely packs in a bigger battery than the iPhone 7.
