Lenovo is going to launch one more smartphone in India. Lenovo has teased the coming up launch of its P2 battery-focused smartphone in India. The company via its Twitter India handle on Monday began teasing the launch of the smartphone, but, at this point, no details of accessibility or price are known. Travel fearlessly with the longest lasting battery #LenovoP2 #Powerhouse coming soon," the company posted on Twitter. Although the company has failed to comment a time-frame, we assume the P2 will launch in India soon enough, possibly within a few weeks.

To recall, the Lenovo P2 was first revealed at IFA 2016. The smartphone is already presented in some regions globally including China, where only 4GB LPDDR4 RAM variant with 64GB of inbuilt storage has gone up for sale. Elsewhere in the world, and we imagine India, 3GB/ 4GB LPDDR3 RAM variants with 32GB of inbuilt storage will be made accessible to buy. China pricing is CNY 2,499 and you can guess the smartphone to be significantly cheaper in India due to the above-mentioned differences.

The P2 is an all-metal phone with a front-mounted fingerprint scanner and a massive 5,100mAh battery with support for fast charging inside. The dual-SIM Lenovo P2 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box, and sports a 5.5-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display. It has Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 with up to 4 gigs of RAM and up to 64GB of internal memory.

The phone supports expandable memory, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, and FM radio connectivity options. It is powered by a 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 processor, coupled with either 3GB or 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM. The smartphone bears a 13-megapixel rear camera with a Sony IMX258 sensor and on the front, it comes with a 5-megapixel camera. It should be available in Champagne Gold and Graphite Grey color variants. It measures in at 153x76x8.2mm.

Lenovo introduced the K6 Note, another batter-centric phone in India newly starting at Rs 13,999. The phone is powered by a 5.5-inch 1080p screen and a 4,000mAh battery. It has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal memory. The phone also supports expandable storage.
