Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe Snapdragon 821 Variant Launched
Asus has declared a new variant of Zenfone 3 Deluxe smartphone powered by Snapdragon 821 processor. The new alternative comes with 6GB RAM and 256GB ROM. Qualcomm revealed Snapdragon 821 today and claims the chipset is 10 times more proficient than its predecessor Snapdragon 820.
The all-new Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe has been priced at TWD 24,990 approximately 52,000INR and will go on sale well along this year. Other ZenFone 3 Deluxe variants featuring Snapdragon 820 will go on sale early next month in Taiwan. Asus established that ZenFone 3 is now offered in Taiwan while the ZenFone 3 Ultra is up for pre-orders and is likely to be available by the end of this month.
Apart from the Snapdragon 821 SoC, the new ZenFone 3 Deluxe also packs huge 256GB of built-in storage. Rest of the specifications of the new ZenFone 3 is same to the 'regular' ZenFone 3 Deluxe models. It features a 5.7-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB) and packs a whopping 6GB of RAM. The rear camera has a 23-megapixel Sony sensor with 4K video support and also packs an 8-megapixel front camera. It measures 156.4x77.4x7.5mm and runs Asus Zen UI based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. There is a 3000mAh battery on board.
Asus introduced its Zenfone 3 series with Zenfone 3 Deluxe (4GB and 6 GB variants), Zenfone 3 and Zenfone 3 Ultra smartphones. Now the devices are accessible for pre-booking in Taiwan. The smartphones will start delivery after July 29.
Asus says that the camera has both EIS and OIS which is electronic image stabilization to confirm better videos. The camera also has a Super Resolution mode where it can take a 92 mp picture . It also has a colour sensor on the back along with LED flash; this is to develop white balance, declares Asus.
Asus at the global launch in May had revealed pricing of the some ZenFone 3 models, the Asus ZenFone 3 (ZE552KL) was rated starting at $249. the Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe (ZS570KL) priced at $499 (roughly Rs. 33,600), and the Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra (ZU680KL) estimated at $479 (roughly Rs. 32,200).
