WhatsApp is a regularly developing social media app that likes to keep its user base excited with certain features. While sticker packs are one of the popularly used features on the platform, users usually have to rely on third party apps to send their favorite stickers to friends. But now WhatsApp will allow users to create their own stickers within the app starting today.
The Meta-owned social app has rolled out 'Custom Sticker Maker' Feature for its users. This feature is currently made available on WhatsApp for web and desktop versions.
The company mentioned in a press note, “I want to tell you about a super cool feature that we have just launched for the users of WhatsApp on Mac and PC. Starting today, we are really excited to introduce a new tool on WhatsApp for web and desktop that lets users create their own custom stickers.”
This is a great change, at this time users need to setup a separate sticker pack through the App Store to use the platform. The Meta-owned app has not shared any details on the availability of the custom sticker tool on the mobile platform.
This feature is currently being released for WhatsApp Web, although it will be accessible on WhatsApp for desktop in the coming weeks. Notably, this feature enables one to crop or rotate images and even undo or redo (undo/redo) changes.

How to make custom stickers on WhatsApp
- First, open WhatsApp Web, then tap on the chat you want to send the custom sticker to.
- Now click on the paperclip icon next to the chat bar where you will find the new custom sticker tool.
- Tap on Stickers option and then upload the photo you want to send from photos saved on computer.
- Once selected, you can edit and adjust the photo. WhatsApp currently offers a few tools - snipping, adding emoji, stickers and text from the sticker panel.
- You can undo/redo changes made to photos.
- Once you've made the necessary editing, you can send a custom-made sticker to your friend by tapping on the select option.
