Microsoft Will Stop Supporting Windows 10 In 2025

The US based tech giant Microsoft announced that Windows 10 support will end in 2025. Microsoft has updated the Windows life cycle fact sheet to indicate that it will cease support for Windows 10 Home, Pro, Pro for Workstations, and Pro Education on October 14,  2025. During the launch of Windows 10, Microsoft stated that it would be the last version of Windows. According to Microsoft's latest teaser, it will release Windows 11 by the end of this month.

The company has announced a new event for the june 24th. In this event, the company will announce what is coming 'next for Windows.'

The Microsoft CEO had previously hinted at the “next generation of Windows” at Microsoft’s Build event last month. “Soon we will share one of the most significant updates to Windows of the past decade to unlock greater economic opportunity for developers and creators.

I’ve been self-hosting it over the past several months, and I’m incredibly excited about the next generation of Windows,” Nadella had said in his keynote at the Microsoft Build 2021 event.

Nadella had also said that the company will create more opportunities for Windows developers and creators who are looking for an innovative and open platform to build and distribute and monetize applications. “We look forward to sharing more very soon,” he had said.
