    Telegram Starts End-To-End Encryption Video Call Service On Its 7th Anniversary

    Today, Telegram completed seven years. 

    In 2013, Telegram started as a small app focused on secure messaging and grown into a platform with over 400M users. Now Telegram becomes the top 10 most downloaded apps and is used all over the world to stay touch family and friends.

    Telegram become popular because of its secure and quality features. It has never advertised, and every user has come to the app because of a recommendation from someone they trust.

    Telegram continues to develop many new features that make it much more than just a messaging app, on its 7th Anniversary. Telegram is adding one new feature- fast and secure video calls.

    You can now do video calls through Telegram which is available on both Android and iOS. You can start a video call from your contact's profile page, and switch video on or off at any time during voice calls. 

    Video calls support picture in picture mode, allowing you to scroll through chats and multitask while maintaining eye contact. All video calls are protected with end to end encryption.

    However, Telegram is working toward group video calls, and will receive more features and improvements in future versions.

    To help you celebrate, Telegram also added another batch of new animated emoji. To get one of these emojis in a chat, simply send a message with a single emoji.
