Samsung To Launch New Galaxy C Series Smartphone In India.

As per the report, Samsung will introduce a new smartphone under the Galaxy C series in the China next month. The Samsung Galaxy C series are directed towards selected smartphone markets. The company has planned to introduce the handset first in China, which will be followed by its India launch.

As per the new listing, the Samsung SM-C5000 has the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor with Adreno 405 GPU. The handset is based on the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system and has 4 GB RAM.

According to the Zauba listing, the SM-C5000 comes with a 5.2-inch display and having a price tag of Rs 13,625.

If the rumors are confirmed to be true, the Galaxy C will be the fourth mid-low end phone Samsung has presented thus far, following the Galaxy A, Galaxy J and Galaxy E. 

According to the list, the Samsung SM-C5000 will be powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 617 processor with Adreno 405 GPU and pack 4GB of RAM. Since it has a powerful processor, it is estimated to come with a 1080p screen. A previous leak discovered that Samsung is additionally working on SM-C7000 smartphone in the C-Series and the company might launch three variants in the series, similar to the Galaxy A series. 


Recently, Samsung introduced its budget smartphone called Galaxy J3 in India with Priced at Rs 8,990 the handset flaunts a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. It deals 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB ROM.

It also offers a new feature called S bike mode which claims to change the way users ride. The new ' S bike mode' feature would mute the phone and automatically send a text to the caller to call later.

Samsung Electronics has been aiming at a budget and mid-range smartphones in what appears like an attempt to penetrate into developing markets like India, where the future of mobile handsets lies. Mobile phone markets in developed countries have quite reached the saturation stage.

The company has introduced several devices from the Galaxy A, galaxy Z, and Galaxy J series. It has already released the 2016 version of the Galaxy A3, Galaxy A7, Galaxy J1, Galaxy A5, Galaxy A9, Galaxy A9 Pro, Galaxy J7, and Galaxy J5, and now there appear to be more handsets in line.

Officially Samsung introduced the Galaxy A5 and A7 2016 smartphones for the Indian market in February. While the Galaxy A7 has costs Rs 33,400, the Galaxy A5 priced at Rs 29,400.
