Tesla Model S Hacked Successfully by Chinese Students. University claim that Tesla motors can hack remotely controls the car locks, horn headlights and skylight while the vehicle was moving. The event was launched by Tesla in Syscan 360 security Conference held on 16th and 17th July in Beijing.  A team from Zhejiang University in China who claimed the hack.

According to source, Tesla officials said they would investigate the latest hacking claims and fix legitimate vulnerabilities identified.

While Tesla is not associated with the conference and is not a sponsor of the competition, we support the idea of providing an environment in which responsible security researchers can help identify potential vulnerabilities," Palo Alto, California-based Tesla was quoted as saying. "We hope that the security researchers will act responsibly and in good faith.
Syscan 360 conference organizers announced to give $10000 bounty for successfully hack Tesla Smart-car in contest.
