Hitachi Develops Transparent Glass Chip To Store Data Forever. This future technology to store digital information for million years. Its each layer has dots to store the data. This quartz glass is 2cm by 2mm square size. This chip  is waterproof and resistance too many chemicals and unaffected by radio waves also capable of enduring extreme temperature. it can be exposed directly to high temperature flames and heated up to 1000 degree Celsius without damage up to two hours. Chip include has fur layer dots, which hold 40 megabytes/sq. inch. As from Hitachi has not decided for do practical on it but researchers said it could start with storage devices for government agencies.
As we seen in our daily life we store our important data in hard drives, DVD's and more external devices but probably data may lost . but now this tiny chip might be helpful for us to store our data forever. Hitachi researcher Kazuyoshi Torii said,
"The volume of data being created every day is exploding, but in terms of keeping it for later generations, we haven't necessarily improved since the days we inscribed things on stones,".
Chip creates dots inside a thin sheet of transparent glass to store data in binary form where users can read by optical microscope. Its too tiny which is easily fit in your wallet.
