Pinterest Has Introduced Website Analytic Tool


Pinterest has introduced analytic tool for allow tracking of users websites on the social network. First you have to verify your website, Its a free tool to use for track your pinning activity from your website like who seeing your pins and clicking on your content. where you can find which pins get most re-pins, its also show you a selection of your most repinned, most clicked, and most recent pins so you will get a better idea of popular pins.

Steps to follow:


1. Get early access to Pinterest’s new look.


2. Make sure you have a verified website. If you have a website listed on your profile with a check mark next to it, you’re verified. If not, follow these steps to verify.


3. Once your website is verified, go to the top right menu and click on Analytics.


4. Start exploring! Change your date range to see how things have changed over time or download your analytics to sort through the data on your own time.


Pinterest does not display any advertising on their page. According to Reuters, "Providing companies with data about usage is a "pretty clear step in the direction" of monetizing Pinterest, "they couldn't really start charging people without some way of measuring the efficacy of the spend," said Greg Sterling, senior analyst with Opus Research, a San Francisco-based market research firm.
Pinterest is "building foundations to monetize" its service this year, Chief Executive Ben Silbermann told The Wall Street Journal last month.
In February, the company raised $200 million in funding from venture capital firms that include Andreessen Horowitz and Bessemer Venture Partners. The funding deal valued the three-year-old company at $2.5 billion."
