Titan Juxt Pro Smartwatch With Intel SoC Launched
Leading watchmaker Titan has introduced a new member to its JUXT series of smartwatches with the launch of the JUXT Pro. It comes as a successor to the JUXT, which was introduced in January as the brand's first smartwatch. The Titan JUXT Pro is a touchscreen smartwatch, while its predecessor only featured a small rectangular OLED display inside the analogue watch to show information.
On Thursday Titan introduced the Juxt Pro smartwatch in India at Rs. 22,995. The smartwatch is presented in Black and Silver case options, both of which ship with Black straps. The Titan Juxt Pro smartwatch will be obtainable online by Flipkart, and offline at select Titan stores apart from certain electronic retail stores.
The Juxt Pro is the elder sibling of the Juxt that was introduced at Rs. 15,995 in January in partnership with HP.
This is a circular dial watch and it permits users to change the watch faces as they can select from 20 of them. Sporting a stainless steel case, which has the thickness of 15.2mm making it heavy. So, it is clearly suggested to people only with strong arms. The company claims that its newest offering is waterproof, though, the brand didn’t share the certification to find the strength of the water resistance.
The Titan JUXT Pro is accomplished by tracking our daily activities, calories burnt and distance traveled. The device is well-matched with iOS and Android devices, and pairs with them via Bluetooth 4.0. Like to other smartwatches, it can copy smartphone notifications, and offers features like camera, phone finder and music control, timer, calendar, converter, and weather. It also provides a panic alarm feature. To use it, users will need to install the Titan Safety app on their linked headsets, and add emergency contacts in the app. When the button on the wearable is long-pressed, Titan Safety app sends location and an attentive call to the emergency contacts.
Coming to the other features, it is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Intel SoC, aided by 512MB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of internal memory, and a 450mAh rechargeable battery, which the brand says can last for a day. The Titan JUXT Pro sports a 1.3-inch IPS LCD touch-enabled display with a resolution of 360 x 360 and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The Titan Juxt Pro shows smartphone notifications like messages and email and permits user to answer calls as well. Other features contain a built-in music app that allows user store music, a camera app that lets the user take smartphone pictures of their watch, calendar, fitness, timer and sensors like accelerometer and gyroscope, among other things.
