Lenovo To Launch Vibe K5 Note on July 20 In India

Lenovo Chinese Tech Company has taken to micro-blogging website Twitter to declare that it will introduce the Vibe K5 Note in India on July 20th. It is the successor of the Vibe K4 Note that was introduced in the country earlier this year. The company had launched the Vibe K5 Note first in China, and only just in Thailand. Lenovo has already introduced the Vibe K5 for Rs 6,999 and the Vibe K5 Plus for Rs 8,499 in India this year.

Yesterday Lenovo tweeted "You don't have to worry about a 'house-full' when you have the best seat in the house. The #KillerNote5 is coming" along with a picture which shows "5 DAYS to something NOTEWORTHY".

The Lenovo Vibe K5 Note has a metallic build, nothing like its plastic-made successors. It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p screen and is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC, which is paired with 2GB of RAM and Mali-T860 GPU. The Mediatek Helio P10 processor with eight Cortex-A53 cores running at 1.8 GHz each combined with a dual core Mali-T860MP2 GPU powers the device. It sports a 5.5-inch 1080P Full HD LTPS IPS LCD.

K5 Note based on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system has Vibe UI and a 3,500 mAh non-removable battery with quick charging support.

The Lenovo K5 Note prepared with a 13MP rear camera on the back with dual tone LED flash along with an 8MP front-facing a camera. Connectivity features include LTE, 4G, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.

K5 Note also features a rear fingerprint scanner as well. A fingerprint reader is located at the back of the handset. The newest smartphone from Lenovo is also furnished with Dolby Atmos audio technology for high-quality audio playback.

The Lenovo Vibe K5 Note is estimated to be rated at Rs. 11,000 in India, with the options of choosing between Silver and Gold color. It would be exciting to see whether Lenovo bundles the ANT VR headset end to end with the device as it did with the earlier K4 Note.
