According to hollywoodreporter, "Chapman, the daughter of a senior KGB agent who was exposed as a long-term "sleeper" agent, part of a ring of Russian spies in America, and deported in the summer of 2010, has used her beauty and notoriety to forge a lucrative career as a catwalk model and minor Moscow celebrity."

She later asked, “NSA, will you look after our children?”

When Wall street Journal asked by email if she was serious, Ms. Chapman told “you are welcome to use your imagination.”
“I would also like to offer Snowden my heart and mostly my passport! Edward! Marry Me!” she also posted on Twitter. She later said hinted to this newspaper that she may not have been 100% serious.
