International Yoga Day Is Being Celebrated On June 21


Today, June 21 has been declared as the International Yoga Day by the United Nations. More than 190 countries are participating on this day with some deep breathing and coordinated activities.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made Yoga Day a key initiative of his government since he joined PMO office a year ago. "Yoga has the power to bring the entire humankind together!" PM Narendra Modi tweeted last year after tossing the idea during his speech to the UN General Assembly.

Around 37,000 people are expected to join this celebration on both sides of the Rajpath in the capital Delhi, giving confidence to the government to apply for the world record. So India is about to apply to the Guinness World Records for claiming the record for "Largest Yoga Illustration at a single place".

It helps you keep in touch with your body with more positive outlook on life and daily routine.
