As we see Twitter is growing number of members and its service rapidly gained worldwide popularity, with over 500 million registered users as of 2012, generating over 340 million tweets daily and handling over 1.6 billion search queries per day. Twitter takes this step after hacked biggest companies and organization verified twitter account like Onion, BBC Weather , Onion , BurgerKing, Telegraph, Financial Times, Associated Press and more. In Febuary 250000 Twitter user accounts had got attacked. Apart of that Google and Facebook already used two steps login authentication.

Follow Steps For Two Step Login Verification:

1. Go to settings 
2. Select “Require a verification code when I sign in.”
3. Click on the link to “add a phone” and follow the prompts.
4. After you enroll in login verification, you’ll be asked to enter a six-digit code that we send to your phone via SMS each time you sign in to twitter.com.

when you login then Twitter able to send a text to your phone before you can enroll in login verification. After type verification code then you enter your Twitter account.
