New Motion Technology Announced By 3 Gear

3GEAR is announcing about new motion sensing technology. which detects finger movements in front of a computer. Its little bit similar with Kinect system which use for gaming application . Its control of a virtual 3D environment. Its complete imaginary, what you imagine motion with your hands then its work like a mirror of your hands this technology is one step forward from touchscreen, because we can give the direction of our hands motion. But this could be use for 3d Application rather than games. As we saw in movies like iron man movie, where its send file to another computer by hand motions.

Its software use in free for both non commercial and commercial use, during the public beta period until 30 Nov 2012. If you want to build own then you will purchase Aluminum frame from 80/20, can be assembled from parts costing about $75.

X Box 360 Kinects

Also you will need a pair of mounts to attach the cameras to the frames.. also you will need two Xbox 360 kinects is two depth cameras to reduce problems where one finger is hiding another from the camera. while its support Kinetic sensor, other depth cameras will also work. Next you need to software development kit SDK which takes the raw 3d data from kinects and turn it into usable data on the state of the hands.
